Training

OCNWMR offers a comprehensive training programme which is open to all Recognised Centres. All courses are facilitated by highly experienced OCN staff.

The Training Programme forms part of the support package provided for Recognised Centres.  For information about becoming a registered centre click here. Post-course support and guidance, if required, is available to all those who attend our training courses. 

There are two main categories of training, Introductory Training and AIVS.

Introductory Training Courses

These courses are designed to address the needs of staff in Centres delivering N/OCN provision and others involved in credit based learning.  Courses last 2 - 2.5 hours and they are held at the OCNWMR office in Wolverhampton.

AIVS Training

Approved Internal Verifier Status (AIVS) training courses are designed for staff from Registered Centres who wish to secure Approved Internal Verifier Status.  Individuals wishing to apply for a place on an AIVS training course must first seek guidance from OCNWMR through the application for AIVS process.
