Level 2 Units Now Available in Step-Up

OCNWMR is pleased to announce that the NOCN Level 1 Certificate and Diploma in Skills Towards Enabling Progression (Step-Up) qualifications have been amended to provide opportunities for learners to achieve some Level 2 units.

Ofqual have approved the addition of a range of Level 2 units in order to provide the option for learners to achieve spiky profiles upwards (as well as downwards). This means that, providing the rules of combination are followed, learners achieving a Level 1 Certificate or Diploma may include units at Entry Level and/or Level 2 alongside Level 1 units.

Please note that learners cannot achieve Level 2 Step-Up qualifications. The Level 2 units can be used only as part of course offering Level 1 qualifications. Individual Level 2 units can be achieved as stand alone units but they cannot lead to full Level 2 qualifications.

• Understanding Prejudice and Discrimination - J/500/5588
• Developing Personal Development Skills - K/500/4773
• Improving Own Learning and Performance - L/500/4782
• Introduction to Alcohol Awareness for the Individual - M/500/4810
• Developing Customer Service Skills - M/500/5715
• Preparing for a Recruitment Interview - R/500/5223
• Introduction to Drug Awareness - T/500/4811
• Undertaking an Enterprise Project - T/500/5229
• Demonstrating Speaking and Listening - Y/500/4767
• Developing own Interpersonal Skills - Y/500/4770
• Using Teamwork Skills - Y/500/5661
• Developing Group and Teamwork Communication Skills - Y/500/5790
