Welcome to Age Concern Training

Age Concern Training in Walsall work with young adults aged 16-18 who are NEET and/or have low levels of literacy and numeracy.  The Centre also has a year 10 engagement programme one day per week for young people aged 14-16 who are in danger of being excluded from school. 

Age Concern Training also offers student apprenticeships in the Care of Older People (at Foundation and Intermediate levels - subject to contract); and Level 2 Apprenticeship in Care (Social Care - Elderly).

Age Concern Training plan to use NOCN Qualifications in Progression and NOCN Step Up qualifications for their courses in personal and social development, preparation for work, IT, health and social care, child development, healthy living, beauty therapy, customer service, retail and business administration.
