OCNWMR Annual General Meeting

The OCNWMR 2010 AGM will be held on 9 June at our offices on Pendeford Business Park, Wolverhampton. Member organisations are entitled to send one voting representative to the business section of the AGM.

Formal business proceedings will commence at 10:00 a.m. and close at 10:45 a.m.

Please note: only member organisations are permitted to send representatives to this part of the event.

Following this, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. there will be a presentation on Foundation Learning titled “Give Me 5”. Colleagues from all OCN Recognised Centres, Members and non-Members, are welcome to attend this session.

Colleagues wishing to attend this part of the event only are welcome to arrive between 10:45 and 11:00 when tea and coffee will be available.

 “Give Me 5”
In commemoration of our fifth birthday – OCNWMR was formed five years ago – we are featuring the number 5.

“Give Me 5” will introduce you to 5 NOCN Foundation Learning qualifications. Our presenters will be allocated 5 minutes per qualification, during which they will outline:

  • Who the qualification is intended for
  • The nature of the qualification
  • The units included in the qualification
  • Rules of combination
  • Progression routes
  • Fees

There will time for table discussions with colleagues from other Centres and members of the Board of Trustees and OCN staff will be on hand to help answer questions and explore issues raised.

Colleagues are then invited join us for lunch…… and a slice of birthday cake!
