



This course aims to provide guidance on delivery and assessment of credit-based, criterion-referenced provision. It will equip tutors/ assessors with the knowledge and understanding necessary to assemble portfolios and evidence assessment. This training session also provides an opportunity to meet other colleagues from other Centres and share good practice.
This course is designed for:
• Tutors and assessors, including those new to delivery of N/OCN provision
Aims:
• To provide guidance on delivery and assessment of credit-based, criterion-referenced provision;
• To equip tutors with the knowledge and understanding necessary to use a range of assessment method;
• To provide the opportunity to share good practice.
This session will run from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in our offices on Pendeford Business Park, Wolverhampton.
Attendance on Good Practice in Assessment may contribute towards the requirement from 1 September 2007 for all teachers, tutors, trainers and lecturers, working in FE colleges or providers delivering LSC-funded provision, to fulfil at least 30 hours (or part-time equivalent) continuing professional development each year.
